Having read all of Wendy Holden's previous books I was hoping for a good read, a bit of light hearted-ness and a good chuckle. I have to say that I was quite disappointed.
The book started off fine and I could really empathise with the female main character but I soon lost interest in the plight of the heroine with me just wanting to shout at her to 'pull herself together and grow up'. The husband of the book had much more of my sympathies than I think he was meant to.
A not bad read if you need something to pass the time.
